The meeting was called to order at 6:10 pm at Blood-n-Fire Ministries (300 N. Madison)

• Finance

  • none

• Program

  • Clean-up 8:30 am on 12 September 2009. Meet at Vine and Washington

  • The Fall Rummage Sale will be Saturday, 10 October from 8 to 12 in Noblitt lot.

  • The Chili Supper will the Thursday 22 October at 5:30 pm

  • Blood N Fire Fall Festival will be Saturday, 24 October from 5 to 8 pm

  • Haunted House will be 23-24 and 30,31 October from 7 to 10 pm each day

• Membership

  • Suggest adding membership requirements to Bylaws

    • Members must work to major events each year. One will be the OWSF.

• Advocacy

  • none

• Weed-n-Seed

  • Fall Weed-n-Seed Cook out will be 3 October at Blood-N-Fire from noon to 2 pm.

Old Business:

• Sue will work first two hours at Emily's Kitchen (Bean Booth)

• Emily Kimbrough Home will be open for Festival
  
  

New Business:

• MSP to approve conditional transfer of up to $2000 from ECNA account to OWSF account to cover potential shortfalls before festival funds arrive.

• Maura Jasper will set up a PayPal account for the ECNA. This will allow us to collect dues, donations, and sell merchandise (t-shirts), etc....

• The Muncie Urban Forester is upset that the ECNA planted trees in street parkways with proper approval from the city. She has a list of up to 38 trees that may have to be removed even though they were planted several years ago. By acclimation we agree to work with Bob Ball and Bill Morgan to try to reach an agreement with the urban forester.

• Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm
