Frank Meeker has coronary health issue while on vacation in Florida.
ECNA meetings moved back to 1st Sunday of the month at 6:00 pm (Next meeting 3 May 2009)

Jason Donati is working to establish community gardens in W-n-S action area.
W-n-S working with Muncie Delaware Clean and Beautiful to sponsor a beautification contest.
Old Business:
D. Malitz led discussion of Muncie Neighborhood Rehabilitation Corporation (MNRC) plans for improvements in and around the east central neighborhood. Depends on successful grant proposal for state share of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds.
MSP motion to support MNRC grant application and to send support letter.
New Business:
Discussion of possible drug activity behind closed Youth Service Bureau building on E. Main.
Discussion of possible demolition of dilapidated duplex at 212 N. Pershing.
MSP motion to contact Muncie Unsafe Buildings to support the demolition of 212. N. Pershing and to investigate the demolition of 216 N. Vine.
A. Poole indicated that she planned to register the ECNA as a possible vendor at the Minnetrista weekly farmers market.
D. Estes indicated that a grant proposal to the Muncie Community Foundation to support items to improve the OWSF. Grant would fund rehabilitating the portable electrical panels and fund the purchase of “slushy” machine.
P. Coan indicated that the ECNA domain name and web hosting bills were due. MSP that these bills be paid per the budget. $ 275 for annual hosting with nHarmony and $49.10 to GoDaddy.com to renew domain name.
Reminder that the 2009 OWSF will occur on 19-20 September 2009.
