Committee Reports:

1. Finance – balance $4383.86 bills paid $14.24 electric bill meter

      1. memorial flowers

      2. chili supper supplies $57.00

   2. discussion of whether we should pay to have the lights rehung on Marie's tree or should consider stopping the electrical service at the island at Wolfe and Jackson.

• MSP – Add Mark Perretta to planning committee

• MSP – Approve committee assignments from last month and as amended above

New Business:

• Pres. Poole cancels January 2009 ECNA board meeting. Committees are expected to meet at their convenience.

• MSP that starting in February 2009 ECNA board meetings will be the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at Grace Episcopal Church

• MSP to change the name of the Planning Committee to the Advocacy Committee.

• Discussion of Charter School and Washington Carver building situation and the MCS board meeting

• Discussion of Weed-and-Seed task force

  • want us to look for burned out street lights

  • marketplace situation remains the same

• Discussion of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). They are looking for houses that need to be torn down. No precess for reporting these houses currently exists.

• MSP to allow P. Coan to approach ECRC about transferring registration of the muncie-ecna.org domain to the ECNA
